Background
I am a 23 year old young professional based out of Austin, Texas. I am proud to be a lifelong Texan, with my early life residing in the Dallas, Texas area. After high school it was a dream of mine to attend one of the most prestigious public universities in the world, The University of Texas. With hard work and dedication I was able to attend in 2015 and eventually receive my B.S. in Corporate Communications. I reflect on my college years with a great amount of love for the city of Austin and all things surrounding the university. During my time, I was able to grow myself professionally and personally. I stayed active outside academics with involvement in groups such as Texas Iron Spikes, TexasTHON, and UT RecSports. With these groups I developed lifelong friendships and positively impacted the Austin community. The knowledge gained during my college years gave me the confidence and joy in knowing that I can help positively impact businesses. I have developed extensive expertise with CMS-based work and have a life long passion for content, analytics, and marketing.
My personal hobbies include: Dallas-based sports, woodworking, Czech language/heritage, PC gaming, and long park runs. Currently, I’ve been expanding my personal and professional hobbies by learning the banjo and working on design skills (UX-based mainly).
Projects
Ethnographic Research
A key aspect of my degree in Corporate Communications was understanding how and why people interact with their environment. This ethnographic research analyzes a specific person’s unique way of living, how they organize their personal space and provides specific insights and recommendations.
Communicative Research
During my senior year of college, I was able to develop and present a research study with a small group. Following a graduate-level standard, we brought forth a study on gendered online deception. This is topic we thought fit well with current times and was looked over by current research.
Marketing Analysis
As a final project in my social media analytics class, my group contributed to analyzing the marketing influence of a specific company and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
